Sharen Hackfath - Head Associate Teacher
Shaz began her Physie career as a junior, combining Physie with her love for Gymnastics. Shaz was an assistant coach for her gymnastic school. In 2005 Shaz began teaching Physie. She has had many successes, including the winning 13/14 year team of 2010 in Sydney, and 2013 National Championship places in the Ladies Novice, 4th, and in the 2nd year seniors, 6th, at the pinnacle of Opera House. Having two daughters with a passion for dance, in 2012 Shaz decided to open her own school under the Australian Physie and Dance (APDA) umbrella to incorporate more modern movement and contemporary dance. Shaz teachers the Physettes, 5 - 8 Years and the Ladies Classes.
Lee Hill - Associate Teacher
Lee started physie as a 9 year old at the Maroubra Club, then moved to the Randwick Club as a 15 year old. In 1981 Lee & her husband, Greg, moved to Coffs Harbour where Lee commenced physie with the Coffs Harbour Club in 1986 when the Club was opened. Lee has been successful throughout her physie career with placings at Zone, Homebush and at the pinnacle of Opera House. Lee and her daughter, Christie, both love their physie and spending time together at class and competitions. Lee assisted Judy Simpson when she was the Head Associate and, since Judy’s retirement, has assisted Sharen with her classes. Lee and her daughter Christie are very valued relief teachers.
Karlie Hackfath - Associate Teacher
Karlie began her physie career as a 3 year old with the Coffs Harbour Club. She has had many successes as an individual and in teams. She has been a National competitor since she was 6 years old, placing 6th at the Pinnacle of Opera House on two occasions. Karlie began dance lessons in 2000 and continued into 2012/2013 where she studied dance for her HSC and ranked 1st in her year group. With a love for Dance, Drama and Performing, Karlie has had roles and featured dancer in many Coffs Harbour Musicals such as "Anything Goes" "Mary Poppins"&"Wicked" continue to be a part of the broadway industry in the future. Karlie has been an Associate Teacher with Coffs Physie & Dance since 2012 and is always eager to show off her dance and amazing choreography skills. Bringing her amazing energy to classes, Karlie teaches the 9-12 years & 13-15 years.
Leanne Maguire - Associate Teacher
Leanne has loved physie from the age of 5 and the friendships that it creates for life. Leanne teaches the 16- elites and ladies classes. Leanne loves that physie is inclusive and promotes getting fit and healthy in a place where you feel encouraged & supported.
