Last week we held our annual workshop/sleepover day. Even though this year it wasn't a sleepover due to fathers day the girls still had a great time forming friendships and learning a little physie. First Up was the Workshops, each age group moved along the work stations which included positions, stretching, teams and general cardio fitness. After a delicious fruit break (thanks parents!!!) It was onto the 2nd round of workshops of games, marching and ballet positions.

Then it was time to PARTY!!! An enormous amount of food was provided by generous parents! After all the girls we full, preparations started for the Talent Quest!!! the most entertaining part of the evening!!! The girls got dressed in pyjamas/costumes, makeup was applied and props gathered. When everyone was seated on mats/been bags/sleeping bags the show begun and the first acts appeared on stage. This year we had a wide range of acts including,  a little bit of improv dramatic performances, APDA news readers, singing of some well known musicals and of course  lots of dancing!!! with an appearance from some zombies. When all the performances were finished it was time for a movie. 

Thankyou to everyone who helped out on the day and to the parents who supplied the food and kids. It was a great day of learning, to have a bit of fun and relax before competition starts. The workshop/sleepover day is very important to us as as it helps to bring the club together and form lifelong friendships which is what physie is all about!!! we hope everyone had a fantastic day!!!
